It feels as though the momentum is growing as Heaven shouts over us, “THE HARVEST IS RIPE.”

What is Stirring Inside of Us?
Let me ask you: have you noticed a stirring hunger growing in your heart for an outpouring of God? Have you felt desperately thirsty for more of Him? Have you been feeling a sense of dissatisfaction with a longing to see the “more” of God? I heard the Holy Spirit say, “The soil of the earth is crying out for My rain and I am stirring up the hunger of My hungry ones to contend for My outpouring, not just for themselves, but for the whole earth. I have positioned My consecrated ones for this very moment, for HARVEST.”
I want to share with you two Scriptures and a vision that the Holy Spirit shared with me recently. I believe each of them prophetically point to the time we are living in right now and speak of Harvest, the latter rain and the hungry ones.
A Vision of the Fields
The first is the Scripture from Zechariah 10:1. It says, “For how great is His goodness, and how great His beauty! Grain shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the young women. Ask the LORD for rain in the spring, for He makes the storm clouds. And He will send showers of rain so every field becomes a lush pasture.”
As I read this Scripture, I saw a vision of fields of ripe corn beginning to peak through their husks, and the fields were stretching as far as the eye could see, to the right and to the left, sweeping over the horizon. They looked ready to be picked but there was a problem. They were beginning to wilt from the heat of the midday sun scorching down on them, and the ground was dry and cracked, begging for rain. For a moment, I felt as a farmer might feel as he or she waits in desperation for rain, looking on the horizon, and hoping for the sign of rain.
As I was searching for rain, I suddenly heard a sound. I began to notice people scattered throughout the fields of corn, and they were on their knees. They were weeping, their tears were staining the ground, and they were looking heavenward crying out in unison, “We want MORE! We want MORE! We must have MORE of YOU!” This went on for quite some time as I watched this scene unfold of these thirsty ones, crying out to the Father for more of Him in what sounded like a cry of labor. They were desperate for Him.
As they continued, I fell to my knees alongside them and suddenly a rumble could be both felt and heard in the near distance. We looked up and just over the horizon, thick and heavy clouds of rain were gathering. Rumblings of thunder grew louder as the hungry ones shouted all the more, “We want MORE! WE want MORE! We must have MORE of YOU!”
The sky began to grow darker, with flashes of lightning lighting up the sky, and the ones on their knees only grew thirstier as the rain clouds approached. I looked up and noticed that the storm clouds were growing in response to thirsty cries from the set-apart ones. The more they shouted in unison, the greater the clouds grew in strength with every shout and every cry until suddenly, big droplets of water began to fall.
I then heard the voice of the Holy Spirit from within the clouds as He responded, “My consecrated ones, I have come as you have asked – to pour out My Spirit upon the fields.” A shout of victory went up from among the people as rain began to fall heavily, soaking up the dry ground and saturating everything in sight. There was a dance of victory that broke out from amongst the consecrated ones as they walked through the harvest fields. Also as the corn was revived, they began picking the corn in a dance of celebration. They began filling endless baskets and vats to overflowing with rich, juicy corn.
The Harvest is Upon Us
The second Scripture the Holy Spirit then led me to after this vision is in Hosea 2:21-22. It says, “And in that day I will respond, says the Lord, I will respond to the heavens (which ask for rain to pour on the earth), and they shall respond to the earth (which begs for the rain it needs), and the earth shall respond to the grain and the wine and the oil (which beseech it to bring them forth), and these shall respond to Jezreel (restored Israel, who prays for a supply of them.)”
I believe we are in a divine moment of time right now, where the harvest is ripe. It feels as though the momentum is growing as Heaven shouts over us, “THE HARVEST IS RIPE.” It is undeniable. I believe there is an outpouring of His Spirit that is about to saturate the earth and the clouds of His glory are gathering on the horizon. They are heavy with glory-rain, hanging in suspense, just waiting to water the earth. And it is the cries of the hungry ones, the consecrated ones, the set-apart ones who are going to be strategic in drawing in this rain. It is the cries of those who will shout out in unison, “More of You! More of You! We MUST have MORE of YOU!” It is their desperation, hunger and thirst that will draw His rain to the earth.
Both the Scriptures I shared with you speak of the latter rain, the harvest (grain), and also His wine and oil. The verse in Hosea says that each of these shall respond to Jezreel, which amazingly means, “God Soweth”. God has sown the seeds of harvest and the hungry ones are responding. The latter outpouring that has been prophesied for generations will be a combination of the wine of the Holy Spirit, His oil, His rain and harvest. It is the hungry and thirsty ones who will be fed by only His wine and grain, they will be drenched in the oil of Heaven as He pours out His Spirit. I hear the Holy Spirit beckoning His hungry ones and He is saying, “ASK ME! ASK ME TO SEND THE RAIN. Nothing else will satisfy your thirst, nothing else will satisfy your hunger. Ask me for MORE.”
Awaken from slumber
I can hear the rumblings of thunder and I can see the flashes of lightning as His outpouring of rain draws closer. The whispers of the Holy Spirit are turning into roars as He prepares us for this great outpouring and there is a stirring and shaking that is awakening the Bride from her slumber all over the earth. His consecrated ones have been in preparation for this very moment. Those who have felt overlooked, but sought Him anyway. Those who have been hungry for only Him. Those who have chosen Him over the distractions of this world. Those who no one would suspect or thought that He would use. Those who cherish His voice and treasure His Holy Spirit. They are His consecrated ones, set apart for such a time as this.
Are you ready, hungry ones? The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few… are you ready to be the ones who labor to call on His rain? Are you thirsty, consecrated ones? Cry out for more! For nothing else will quench your thirst! Nothing else will satisfy! It’s time to cry out for MORE of Him for He is faithful to respond and He is sure to send the harvest rains.
