No professional athlete, or athletes in general, enjoy losing a game. But in competitive sports, there is always a winner and a loser. It’s how you react after a loss that indicates your character. Below are a list of 10 NBA players, past and present, who you may not have known are Christians. They give all the glory to God in winning and in losing.
Dwight Howard is a center-forward for the Washington Wizards. He has been one of the most vocal athletes in the NBA about his Christian faith.

Everybody needs to realize that it doesn’t matter how old you are or how young you are, you still can be a Christian and live for God. It’s not easy but that’s why we have God’s word and He forgives us when we do something we shouldn’t be doing. You know, God sent His son to die for us and He paid that sacrifice so you can go to Heaven.” – Dwight Howard
Christopher Emmanuel Paul (born May 6, 1985) is an American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the NBA.
